Best Dealership to Work For 2023
February 22 2024,
General Manager Brad Haywood on improving employee retention: Improving retention is a focus here as replacing an employee is expensive. Management works with all staff to ensure morale and engagement remain high, while improving processes to create more streamline workdays. The dealership has invested in many tools and software to allow staff to work smarter and give them more time to do what they do best. Employees are also recognized on all milestones, such as birthdays, anniversaries and awards/accomplishments with the entire staff.
Haywood on management’s approach to recruiting and retaining female employees: The approach to hiring female staff is focused on ensuring we have the right staff members in the roles that allow us to have healthy and profitable growth within the company. Women make up 27 per cent of our staff and 28 per cent of our management team.
Haywood on the percentage of staff still working remotely following the pandemic: We currently have four per cent of our staff working remotely. With the evolution of technology and dealer management system/customer relationship management software, staff can make the most out of remote work while still remaining connected to the dealership as if they were working here, while allowing more flexibility in their schedule and commute times.
